Regarding
Covid-19

From the Bride & Groom:

As our nearest and dearest, your health and safety is our utmost priority at our wedding. We will have 60 - 70 people in attendance and aim to reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19 as much as we possibly can. We will do this by asking that everyone in attendance be fully vaccinated and follow our Covid-19 requirements and day-of precautions.

By choosing to have a wedding during a pandemic in a popular destination place, we know as hosts we are responsible not only for the safety and health of our entire wedding group but also their residual impact outside of the wedding day itself.

Our goal is to take the right precautions that will allow our entire wedding group to enjoy the weekend and day, with as little risk of transmitting Covid. We hope you understand where we are coming from and respect our requests for our wedding activities.

We cannot wait to celebrate safely with all who can make it. If attending in person is not right for you, we completely understand and love you just the same.

Please see the City of Charleston's most recent update, September 2021:

“The CDC, DHEC and our local medical professionals have all been clear – these vaccines are safe and effective, and it’s incumbent upon us as public servants to lead by example and do everything in our power to protect our community.

Put simply, widespread vaccination is the only way we can end this pandemic for good, and we’re proud to stand by other local governments who share that same goal.”
